Welcome to our NEW blog!

Hello!  Exciting things are happening at Quilts that Care in 2018!  We have a new BLOG and we want to hear from YOU!  In 2017 our volunteers created 700 quilts that have been distributed to cancer patients throughout Connecticut.  Changes are happening to our website.  I need and want your input…what would you like to see, what would you like to talk about, anything new that can create buzz or excitement…comment below!

By the way, what are you doing tomorrow????  Wanna Help?  Super Sew Sunday is happening at our Headquarters 11-4 and we have 13 sewing machines set up and ready to be used.  We have an easy, fun pattern that we are all working on together.  Bring a dish to share.

  1. Hi It’s Dodi. I know you called me a while ago and I’m sorry, I’ve been super busy at work. Do you still need help?

  2. So much is happening at QTC.
Just today—Cissie is sewing, Jackie is ironing, Diane is prepping the battings, Cathy is going through all of the recent donations that have come in, Meghan and Krista are folding and tying up completed quilts as they get ready to go out the door to Cancer Facilities, behind the scenes, Mirya, Sue and Rich Marti are working on the website/blog and Facebook and offsite Maura and Deb are working on applying for grants to help us purchase fabrics, batting and pay our rent.
And MOST OF ALL our GREAT volunteers from Waterbury, Litchfield, Bristol, and so many other CT towns are sewing up a storm making quilts!
What are you doing to help? Just the blog says— stop by tomorrow and join in on our fun!!! Bring a new friend too.

Tell me what’s on your mind
