How You Can Help

Whether you have been quilting for years or you’ve only seen a cutting wheel in a pizza shop, you can help Quilts That Care and provide support to cancer patients around your community. Here’s just a few ways:

Join Us:

If you can cut fabric or coordinate colors you can help make a difference. There is no member fee, equipment, or quilting experience needed. Just check out the latest meeting schedule below and join us when you can:

Current meeting schedule*

QTC Headquarters is at 130 Scott Road in Waterbury, in the same area as Trantolo & Trantolo. OPEN Saturdays from 9-2. OPEN 2nd and 4th Monday 4:30-7. Open quilting. For class information email

The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm at Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center Waterbury, Connecticut

The 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm at Bristol Library Bristol, Connecticut

The 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, 12:30pm at the Litchfield Community Center, Litchfield, Connecticut.

*You do not need to come to a meeting to make a difference. Our group provides quilting kits for those interested in quilting and contributing from home. We ask that you do attend at least one meeting in person prior to requesting a kit.

Donate Quilting Supplies, Gift Cards & Monies:

All organization activities and projects are funded through public donations. If you would like to donate any quilting supplies –  100% cotton fabric, irons, sewing machines, cotton batting – gift cards to fabric stores or general cash/check donations, please email Quilts That Care  at or mail Quilts that Care at PO Box 166, Watertown, CT 06795. You can also make a secure, online general donation by simply clicking the below Donate button (managed securely by PayPal; no PayPal account is needed to make a donation).

No donation is too small and all help us to achieve our mission.
